Dress like a peacock

A male peacock's colors come from the shape of its feathers, not only pigment, which is why they shimmer as it moves. Its neck and chest are deep royal blue, its long train is bronze and green, and most train feathers end in an eyespot of blue, turquoise and gold. The look puts the blue up high, like the neck, and the feather print on one piece. Green, turquoise and gold play the train, with a deeper purple underneath to make them glow.

Rich, dramatic and jeweled. One big eyespot feather print on a silk dress or a light jacket is plenty. Keep everything else deep and plain so it glows.
